FarmOps Privacy Policy

FarmOps ("the App", "we") is a mobile app for managing a farm (herd, machinery, fields, finances), built for users in Poland. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Account data. You sign in through a third-party identity provider. We receive your email address and name from it — we do not store a password of our own.

Farm data you enter yourself. Animals and their ear tag numbers, breeding events and treatments, machinery and its service history, fields and field operations, costs and income, warehouse stock. This data is required for the App to work — it is not shared with other users unless you take an explicit action (e.g. inviting a collaborator to your farm).

Photos. Photos of animals and soil analysis reports that you take or pick in the App are uploaded to our server and linked to the corresponding record in your farm.

Location. When you start recording a field pass, the App records your GPS route — including while the screen is off — to calculate the area covered. Location is not collected when you are not recording a pass.

Microphone and dictation. If you use note dictation, your voice is processed by your phone's built-in speech-recognition system (Apple/Google) to convert it to text. FarmOps does not store audio recordings.

Camera. Used to scan ear tag numbers (the number is recognized, the scan itself is not stored) and to take the photos described above.

Push notifications. Your device token is used to send reminders you asked for (e.g. pregnancy checks, drying-off dates, service intervals, expiring insurance policies).

ARiMR / IRZplus integration (Poland only). If you choose to connect your IRZplus account, its login credentials are stored in a secure, encrypted store on your device and used only to submit reports (births, deaths, movements) that you initiate, on your behalf. Nothing is sent to ARiMR without your action.

Analytics data. We collect which screens of the App you use, so we know what to improve. This data is tied to an installation identifier, not to your identity — it never contains your email, name, ear tag numbers, field names, or farm name. It is processed by PostHog on servers in the European Union. You can turn it off at any time in the App's Settings ("Usage statistics").

• to run the App's core features (farm management, offline and online),
• to send the reminders and notifications you ask for,
• to submit reports to ARiMR if you connect an IRZplus account,
• to improve the App based on anonymized usage analytics,
• to respond to support requests.

We do not sell data and we do not show ads. Farm data is stored on our servers (hosted on Microsoft Azure) solely to run the App. Analytics data (without any farm content) is processed by PostHog (EU). IRZplus login credentials are used only to communicate with ARiMR systems, at your request.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. In the App, from your profile, you can permanently delete your account at any time — this immediately removes your animals, fields, machinery, finances, and ARiMR login credentials. This cannot be undone. You can also email the address below to request deletion of your data.

Login credentials and tokens stored on your device are kept in a secure system store (Keychain / SecureStore), and connections to our server are encrypted (HTTPS). No method of transmitting data over the internet is 100% secure, but we follow commonly accepted protection standards.

The App is a farm management tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, port, and delete your data, and to withdraw consent (e.g. for analytics or the ARiMR integration) at any time. To exercise these rights, email the address below.
